The Tabar is a type of Indian battle axe. It is one of the Rajput's medium range weapons in Deadliest Warrior: The Game. Made of solid steel, the tabar has a curved head, and a weight on the butt for striking and counterbalance. It was a precious weapon, and usually had gold or silver inlay and intricate scrollwork on the haft. The tabar was typically used by cavalry in northern India and the surrounding area during the 17th and 18th centuries. Some tabars were hollow and came equipped with a small dagger inserted in the haft.
